System Requirements

Run Project Lunky on Linux & Steam Deck

The original game is Windows-only, but Linux users have found reliable workarounds using Proton and Wine.

Method 1: Steam + Proton (Recommended)

1. Download the game from itch.io
2. Open Steam → Add a Non-Steam Game → browse to the .exe
3. Right-click → Properties → Compatibility → check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
4. Select Proton Experimental
5. Launch — most users report it works well

Method 2: Wine + DXVK

1. Install Wine and DXVK on your distro
2. Run: wine ProjectLunky.exe
3. If graphics issues occur, try DXVK_HUD=1 wine ProjectLunky.exe to debug

Method 3: Browser Version (Easiest)

Skip all compatibility hassles. Our browser version runs natively on any OS — Linux, macOS, ChromeOS, Steam Deck in desktop mode.

Project Lunky on Mobile (Android / iOS)
